Bartłomiej E. Nowak

President, Vistula Group Universities (Poland)

Bartholomew E. Nowak is Chairman of the Programme Council of the United Nations Association in Poland (UNAP) and a member of the Forecasting Committee of the Polish Academy of Sciences. Previously, he was President of the Vistula Group Universities (2020-22, comprising six private universities) and Foreign Policy Minister of Nowoczesna (the Modern, 2015-19), a liberal political party in Poland. Dr Nowak has been a member of the European University Institute in Florence, the School of Transnational Governance (2018) and the Transatlantic Academy in Washington, D.C. (2013-2014). He has also held executive and advisory positions in the European Parliament (Brussels-Strasbourg, 2004-2009) and the Convention on the Future of Europe (Brussels, 2002-2003).
