Emanuel Šíp

Transport Expert of the Czech Chamber of Commerce (Czech Republic)

Emanuel Šíp is a transport expert with thirty years of experience in the industry. During his consultancy work as a partner of asociation Allied Progress Consultants, he assisted in the development of a number of transport companies and has his share in the development of theprivate railway sector in the Czech Republic. In the years 1993-1995 he was the DirectorGeneral of the state organization Czech Railways, where he led the team preparing the market-oriented railway reform, and he was the Deputy Minister of Transport of the Czech Republic inthe years 2007-2009. During 2014 – 2023, he was Chairman of the Transport Section of theCzech Chamber of Commerce, where, among other things, he participated from the position ofthe business sector in solutions for electromobility and digitization in the transport sector. He graduated from the University of Economics in Prague.
