Jan Vetiška

Head of the Department of Robotics and Robots, Institute of Manufacturing Machines, Systems and Robotics, Faculty of Mechanical Engineering, VÚT Brno (Czech Republic)

Jan Vetiška is a graduate of the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering of Brno University of Technology, majoring in Engineering Informatics and Automation and Engineering Mechanics. He has been an employee of the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering for 15 years, where he is currently the Head of the Department of Robotics and Robots at the Institute of Production Machines, Systems and Robotics, FSI BUT. He specializes in the application of industrial robots in manufacturing systems with Industry 4.0 elements and the introduction of these issues into the educational programs at FSI. He and his colleagues won the MSV Gold Medal for the Digital Twin of the Manufacturing Cell in 2019.
