Jana Berkovcová

Deputy, Chamber of Deputies of the Czech Republic (Czech Republic)

Jana Berkovcová has been a Member of the Parliament of the Czech Republic since 2021. She is a member of the Parliamentary Education Committee and also the Shadow Minister of Education, Youth and Sports. She has devoted her entire professional life to education. She started as a primary and secondary school teacher. Later, she worked at the National Pedagogical Institute as an education methodology specialist, where she focused on the professional development of teachers and school principals as part of their continuing lifelong learning. She has two daughters and four grandchildren to whom she devotes all her free time.
