Michal Šmíd

Managing Director, Amazon (Czech Republic)

Michal Smid has been the General Manager of Amazon in the Czech Republic since 2019. He has been with Amazon for over seven years and was previously GM at two fulfillment centers in Amazon’s Polish operations. He has strong experience in the automotive industry, as well as logistics and of course, e-commerce. Academically, he received a Master’s degree in Materials Science from the Czech Technical University (ČVUT) and also attended the University of Uppsala.
